Question about threading measurements!

Hi!

Right now we’re looking to have some custom hosts produced for our upcoming 57_ nm “true yellow” lasers.

To that end I was wondering if anyone here would happen to definitively know what the standard threading measurements are for the common “diffraction caps” and the steel 3x beam expanders (e.g. from Sanwu).

I’d appreciate it a lot if anybody in the know could chime in. Thanks in advance!

I believe it's 10.4mm wide with 0.5 pitch threads.
I had Lifetime17 make me some adaptor plates and he had to have a custom tap made.
Check with Lifetime17 to be 100%

Ok I looked back and it's 11.4 x 0.5

our upcoming 57_ nm “true yellow” lasers.

Just curious about the process that this laser will use?

Are you going for some sort of self frequency doubling process like lasence tries to sell? (Or better sold earlier)

I mean there aren’t so many viable processes available.
A full OPSL setup for 577 seems unlikely and a ZBLAN Fibre is also unlikely.
OPO or pulsed dye lasers are uhm a little big?
And SFD seems to be struggling to get >571nm.
IMHO anything below 577nm isn’t true yellow.

So what’s your plan?
