Hey guys,
So if those that own the PGL-III-C or M 473nm. The M is the Spartan host for those not familiar. Please could those owning these lasers answer a few questions that would be helpful.
How is the stability on yours?
What power is your and is it over spec? If so by how much?
How much did you pay and what year did you buy it?
If by any chance you ever measured the mrad was it as rated?

thanks in advance. To explain why I am asking. I have a PLE 100mW 473nm and although I love Jet Lasers I am trying to complete my PGL rainbow and prefer the smaller host. I may have found a re-seller of CNI's but the shipping is going to cost $130.00
So I may sell my PLE but want to hear from happy PGL owners if they like the laser.

Hey OM,

What power are you looking for in the PGL-III-M host? I know DL sells a 473nm Spartan(PGL-III-M) laser, but it's only sold at a power of 10mW, which is nowhere as cool as 100mW! However, that may be an option for you :yh:

Thanks Alex. DL used to have higher powered 473 Spartans but you are correct 10mW is too low for my needs. I do love the Spartan/PGL-M host. So solid.

Darn :/

Yeah, im in loved with mine too! The host feels great, and the threading on it prevents it from rolling off and breaking, yay! Overall great lasers!

Hey OM,
I do have a CNI PGL-III-C 593.5 laser. It was spec'd at 20mw I think, but peaked at 30mw when I purchased it. It is a great laser in a great host and is especially nice when next to a 589 as they are very different in color side by side. The unit I have is very stable and can be seen in many of my pics

I also have a Laserbtb PL473 30mw that has been a great laser for me for 3 years now as I got in it Offloads second Group buy I think for 399 dollars.

The blues typically are similar to the yellows in performance more or less for all intents and purposes.
