Purple/Red laser diode and optics from PS3

I think the was a bad module for a PS3. I just pulled the diode off and found it lights up bright red on one pin, very weak red on another, and purple on another. One pin seems to do nothing. It looks like there's a lot of neat optics in the module too. Light returning from the disc lens gets split to the left and right of the incoming laser path. One side lets out blue light, the other makes a line of different colors.

I figure these parts may be useful to someone here if you can extract the glued in optics.

I am open to offers.

wow ps diodes.....cool! I feel like it's yesteryear. Those console diodes got a lot of us interested in power. Ya, and if you do not know what your doing- you will blind yourself in an instant. IR is nothing for the untrained to mess around with.

How powerful are each laser, and what voltage do they run on?

Those PS3 diodes were the first 405nm diodes easily available to us

Look at this ancient drawing on a cave wall.
