Hi!

I would like to build a pumped green laser source.

Does anybody know, whether it is possible to drive a green DPSS cw laser (handheld, more than 200 mW) in a pumped mode, such that we achieve 10-30 ns pulses? Is it in general possible to drive a DPSS laser like this (which in cw lasers should have no integrated q-switch) or are the pulses widened by the DPSS?
