Image with ScannerMax C-506.
In height (Y) all correct, but in width (X) very narrow.

I have checked connections and I do not see anything strange.
I send you the picture in case you can help.

It is normal to have current continuity between GROUND (X), GROUND (Y), GROUND Stanwax board, aluminum base (where power supplies, galvanometer and amplifiers are screwed) and GND house (240v)???

Can this be the problem of narrow image in channel X?

Have a happy weekend!

Best Regards.

You may get more help at PL..
They deal more in scanners and projectors.

Was it running prior to you altering something? My first guess would be the amp died. Swap X and Y signals, and then X and Y galvos and see what the problem follows.

Common ground is normal, and required to keep noise to a minimum.
