well i went to harvest the diodes on my dvd burner i picked up today and i got them both out harvested one of them and then realized both had 3 pins????

so how do i tell them apart without putting power to them?? (im still waiting on my driver)

i snapped a picture of the sled and where the diodes were.

also one diode has a thicker filter (the plastic like thing in front of the diode) not sure the exact term.
