Pricing of 1200mw vs 2000mw vs 10,000mw ..

I'm looking at the pricing of lasers and i'm wondering why there is such a dramatic price increase between the 3 powers I listed.

I mean 1100$ for the 1200mw and 35,000$ for the 10,000mw model?

It is hard to give a reason why without knowing wavelength/type of laser.

The more expensive one could have significantly better beam characteristics etc.

Some technologies don't necessarily scale up very well either. Many parts of lasers get significantly more expensive as they get bigger.

well the 35000 one has about 8 times more power so 8 times 1100 is 8800 so there is 27000 difference there... so proberly its because the more powerful diodes/dpss are alot harder to make so they cost a TON more.
