I recently bought this http://http://cgi.ebay.com/new-150mW-650nm-Burning-Red-Laser-Diode-profession-/270785571982?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f0c13ec8e actually I bought 2. For 4 bucks each I thought might as well. Well I've never used a diode like this and looking on sam's laser faq it seems to be a Fabry-Perot. Unfortunately my multimeter is broken and the one I ordered from dx is going to take a while to come. So anyone have an ideas on the pinout. Also, these seem to be more fragile so suggestions on how much I should drive it with are also apprecitated. Finally, I decided to use an o-like module for this one; however, the goldish scew in peice touches the pins when I screw it in. Does anyone who's ever used one before know if it's conductive and will short the driver if the pins touch it? Sorry for all the questions I should have thought about how long it would take for my new multimeter to come.
