ple-mini 1w 520nm???

Had a thor h2 1w 520nm and im pretty sure my older brother stole it when he moved out haha but either way

My heart is set on the ple-mini 1w 520nm, just hesitant knowing it came out 2 years and maybe it'll come down in price/something else will come out
(should i just get it?)
Also if someone knows the difference between the ple mechanical and ple code switch I'd be appreciative of that information too

Also, can anyone verify that there's no IR emitted from these 520nm lasers? I think it's only the 532s that do that?

There is no IR emitted from your 520nm PLE mini.

Edit: I found this in the PLE Pro users manual, it describes the mechanical and code switch operation.
