OMG! NEED HELP ASAP!

My dad finally bought me a vice and now I can make my first blu-ray laser. Bad news is I can't open the friggen vice, I can twist the metal bit, but the jaws wont budge!!!

what type of vice is it?

mounting it to a bench might get you the leverage to open it...

I don't have a bench, and I've twisted it both ways, but then it just gets tighter and it won't budge.

now don't get impatient and use your foot to hit the vice to get the diode in!
