I built my L317t driver and i am currently waiting on my diode which is a 125mA input with 250mA output at 3v (using circut with 2x 14500's). That being said if i wanted to output 125mA at 3v it would be 3.0v/0.125A=24ohms resistance in my circut (5ohm resitors+ 100ohm pot)? im wondering if this is correct.:wtf:

If all you wanted to run was the resistor. The correct formula is Vref/R=I. In the case of most voltage regulators, Vref is 1.25V. 1.25/.125 = 10 ohms.
