I have one on the way. Some particulars. 121mw average output, divergence <0.9 mrd. And all for the price of 275.55. This unit until recently sold for $299.00

Its great they still sold it as a 105mW laser, when no one would've complained if they sold it as 120mW.

Edit: Meant to say 125mW, kind of the same point though. :-[

This is only a guess. I think the stated outputs are minimums for the Alpha and Nova series.

Actually, SORT of ! :P

They make sure it fits into the category, but at least with NOVA - they make sure it fits WELL into the category they are selling it from. I have yet to see any folks that get a NOVA that are unhappy with the output power....wait...one person was, but the laser was kinda bad, so they replaced it - and upgraded him at the same time for FREE ! That is pretty good :D

Every time I see a topic like this I can't wait to have all the money to get myself a X-125. ;D

So, what you saying is that you can be confident that you will never get a underpowered nova, and even if it is, they will replace it/ upgrade it?
If that's the case, then I'm definitely getting there x-105.

Yep, they have great customer service, and they NEVER send underpowered ones, usually higher output ones.

And if you really want to know how well it works you can always ask them!

"Power graph reports are not a standard addition that we supply with our lasers. Each laser has a sticker marked with that laser's statistics of average and peak output power. We have had customers request output power reports with their units and we can offer this at a lab fee of USD 30.00 for the X-Series lasers, as the margins on these units are lower than our other Series."

I was curious about it so I asked them...

They JUST (like now) sent that to me too. I asked them if they garaunteed power output and got this
The X105 model has a minimum average output power of 105mW with an even higher peak output power.

Not sure if SenKat was talking about me or not but, I did get a X65 from them that was just awesome. Way over what it was rated for. Power button went out on it so I sent it back and they replaced it with an X85 and gave me a free case to go with it :)
