Who actually makes the lasers Nova sells? And, is Nova just a dealer or do the tweak the units for best output? I just bought a X-45 and am very happy with it. Nova itself and its staff, seems to be a very nice place to deal with. Thanks!

Anyone feel free to correct me, but I think they are made by CNI. I'm still quite noob-ish at anything laser related, so I could be wrong.

Yep, you are correct :)

Yes Indeed Novalasers are made by CNI...

THough Nova does not tweak them per se.

Nova buys them in large batches from CNI, then sorts them by Power readings..

This is the main reason that X-125's are so rare!!!

The nuumber of lasers in any given batch that can actually perform at X-125 levels is a very small part of the entire population.

I seem to remember that CNI shoots for a design spec of @80mW output...

Each laser is graded Stringently, and sold by Nova!

Hope that helps!!
