Hi,

I hope not to be disgusting if that are too newbie or repeated questions. I have search for answers finding quite incoherent results.

I have a "200mw" 405nm pen that doesn't burn nothing. And some different "100mw" 532nm that only one burns. What´s the minimun potency for 650, 532, 450 and 405 to burn?

And what would be the equivalence in mW for that colors to visually match in luminosity? (650, 532, 450 and 405)

Thank you guys

Here is a relative brightness calculator.

The shorter the wavelength is - the more energy the photon has; shorter wavelengths burn better than long ones, but it depends on the material you are going to burn. (so 405 is good for burning)

About 75mw if focused can burn black things, but you would like to have more power for faster burning.

Your violet laser is probably underpowered. Try to put some magnifying glass in front of the laser, to focus it, and then try to burn dark things.
