Totally new to lasers so please take it easy on me if I ask stupid questions ;-)
I have a project that uses a RGB 1w laser (china) you can see in the picture the black plastic exit hole (just a hole no lens) of the laser module. I need to fit a lens and then a FC connector to it, Ideally a FC connector like the one in the second picture, I think from looking on the www that a G2 lens (short focal length for RGB) with a M9 thread will suffice. then I can also screw the FC connector to the lens output. does this all sound OK so far? please feel free to comment and tell me I'm being stupid.
If I do have this correct, does anyone know of a good (ideally UK) supplier for G2 lenses and particularly that FC connector in the picture as I have not found anywhere to purchase this yet!
