Hi, I am new to this group and I came here to ask is there anyway possible to make laser pointers blink randomly?

What I am wanting to do is have 8 or 10 lasers under my truck and pointing at the ground and blinking randomly and running off of 12 volts. Is this even possible? If so could someone please explain to me how it can be done? Or point me in the right direction to some websites explaining how?

I have a rock light set I am about to install under my truck and was thinking it would look very cool to have lasers flashing underneath my truck.

Thank you, Randy

Thx for the links I appreciate it. I already have Cree rock lights under my truck but wanted to use lasers while I was parked in the grass a truck shows. I wouldn't want to harm anyone... Heck my buddy has been trying to convince me to put led bulbs in my projector headlight but I won't do it because I respect other drivers and it would be to bright to oncoming traffic.

I even seen this on Amazon

But I don't want the laser to blink to music just random blinking.

Laser modules under a truck would get the optics filthy very fast. Even if you could see them initially, that wouldn't last long. The LEDs are a much better way to go.

As already said, though making lasers blink would be very easy with basic electronics skills, leds are better and more durable.

Good luck on your project

Why do you need Lasers to do that...
LEDs would do the same...
I'd like to give you some info where to
get some but there is no Location in your
Profile signature. Don't want to send you
to the wrong place or too far from you....
