These pics were taken over the course of 4 days about a month ago. I picked up a glass cylinder (a vase perhaps?) for 2 dollars at a garage sale knowing it had photographic possibilities for what I try to do. The only thing constant in these pics is the glass container. In some I filled it with various amounts of fog. I then filled it with water. There are different mirror configurations, diffraction gratings, my LD-PK2 projector, the glass sphere in front of it magnifying the colors behind it. I even submerged my Laserbtb 445nm 1W waterproof laser into the top of the water getting some nice effects of the laser dispersing downward in the water. There are a few real nice 473nm shots with diffraction gratings. A 100mw and 30mw were used for those pics and some nice effects were achieved with the many beams from the gratings hitting the water at different angles.

Since these pics were taken I have experimented more the this tall glass tube and glass sphere and have gotten some very nice results. But these pics were the first time of four. This weekend will be five! This never gets old!! Enjoy

Good to see you again, Brucemir! I've been missing your posts lately.

As always, very nice pictures. I especially like the one with the lit room.

holy santa clause shit lol every time I see your pics I just feel so insignificant lolol

Awesome professional level pictures !

Really nice work----very creative and professional images as I have come to expect from your work. I like some better than others but they are all a notch above basic eye candy----serious works of art they are.

Mind Blown and Eyes are happy. Who needs acid when we have brucemir's pictures.
When I clicked on today's posts and saw that you started a thread with new images I actually said Goody!! :D
As always fantastic work, effort, detail, angles and creativity!!!

Thanks everyone! What is good about my situation is after I finish photographing, I can leave everything set up and tweak things about my set over as long a time period as I want (now 5 weeks) and try to build upon what I have already done. On my next few posts I think you will see that.

Thanks bruce, for giving us our laser p*rn fix! :kewlpics:

Thats what I like about your photo sessions, you're always taking them to new heights; just when we think you've given us your best, you raise the bar and wow us with something better!

I'm especially impressed with your choice of non-rectilinear WA lenses to enhance your creative setups. Truly great.

You will see in future posts the many possibilities, and many of those ideas are discovered by accident which is the fun part. Sometimes just by moving a mirror, grating, laser, whatever, it will lead me down a different path to explore.

Thanks Lehap, Since much of what I photograph is based on rainbows, you will see many more of them used in different ways in future posts. I am looking foward in the months ahead of seeing your labbie rainbow. Good luck with your project!

What a work of art! (corny but well meant) I remember when you bought that vase and mentioned what you were going to do. Success:):)

Holy cow man! These are beyond words. Do not ever stop doing this lol.
