Watch out for the phone number 212-456-7890 from New York city. You'll get an Indian man...or woman...with a thick accent saying they work for Microsoft and your computer is pinging theirs ... and that you have a virus or malware. Then they will try to get you to log into your computer to fix it with Teamviewer. Teamviewer give them full access to your computer ...and info. They also say they are from Aflac ...and are doing a survey. The number is from India routed through NY city so tracing it wont work. I also read they are associated with human trafficking ...and have actually tried to find info out about some peoples family ...and work habits. This is not to be taken lightly. Its all over the internet ...and growing. They have been calling my house for 3 days. Its recommended to ignore the number...or block it if you can. It might be a good idea to forward this to those 'not so computer savvy' people we all know.
