I found a little 5mw module I had from a pen host I tore up a long time ago, and it turns out it actually works after a year or so of neglect
Sooo I wanted to do something with it, It wasn't focusable when It was in its original pen host. So I put it in a aixiz module and threw it in a heatsink and into a C6 host which is also a plus because now it takes 18650's instead of AA batteries and is focusable. There are probably better ways to do this but here are a few pics how I did it.
The left is the old module that I took the driver and diode setup out of. Then on the right is the one I put it in. I cut a aixiz in half and pressed it into what was left of the green module, then put the top lens half of the aixiz on it.
Beamshot going into some trees, the beam is very thin but bright! Well thats pretty much it, thanks for checking it out!
