Nice...

But they really should change the color red to else, like grey or brown.
People will just think its a powerful red laser -.-

Honestly IMO selling these reduces Lazerer reputation. They don't even seem to sell 808-980nm laser goggles.
Responsible companies should not be promoting High power IR lasers in complete handhelds.

Want a handheld burner, 445nm does it very well. These IR lasers will just burn the eyes of anyone without proper respect & experience. As well as the eyes of anyone the owner cares to point it at.
These things (handheld High power IR) should not even be mass produced IMO but who can stop the chinese. We do Not need them to be available to any kid with a prepaid credit card. Experienced people can build their own handheld or have it built for them.

Does Lazerer have an account on LPF?

Owning one of these for personal use must be like owning an grenade launcher for personal use. "No officer, I hadn't actually planned on using it.. I just thought it would be bitchin to have it!"

And what, may I ask, is wrong with owning a grenade launcher?

Seriously though, grenade launchers and other destructive devices are perfectly legal to own under federal law here in the US. The problem is that you have to find a legally transferable device, pay through the nose for it, do all sorts of paper work, and pay a $200 tax. The actual grenades themselves are destructive devices in their own right, so paperwork, $200 tax, waiting periods, etc. on each one. In the end, you have to be rich and have inordinate amounts of time to waste to get a hold of one (legally, at least.)

As a fun fact, there is no federal law or regulation (that I know of, at least,) against owning a flamethrower. You're perfectly within the bounds of the law if you want to fill a Super Soaker with kerosene and patrol the boundaries of your property with it. Actually use it? Sounds like arson, at least (also, note the rash of flamethrower attacks we've seen in lieu of an appropriate law banning flamethrowers.)

Legislate against actions, not items.
