Welcome to the forum. Yes, lasers are fun, but please remember the safety aspect. Hopefully you have or are getting goggles for your laser. Even if you never get hit in the eye by an accidental reflection while burning something, the bright light at close range is bad for the eyes, and can cause headache. Goggles are needed at this power level. You probably can build a laser if you want to. Perhaps you'll want a bluray next. They burn well, the diode is cheap to get, and available on the forum. There is plenty of info here in the stickies and old posts about laser building. Or, you could get Darkarmyofone to build it for you! Many choices here at LPF.
