New DL Viper 75 mw

Hello all,

Just got my Viper 75mW and it seems to be a very nice laser. So far I've managed to:

1) burn holes on thin black plastic (2 feet away)
2) blow some ballons (2 feet away)
3) smoke my leather wallet (1 inch)

All this holding the laser in my hand, not very steady.

Bean is clearly visible even under "medium" light conditions and really freakin nice in the dark!

Does all this sound about right for a 75 mw laser???

Also, when it comes to bean visibility alone, is there much difference between a 75 mw laser and a 125 mw?

Congrats on your purchase !  No - you won;t visibly see too much difference in the beams between those two power ratings - the laser has to be 4 times as powerfull, before it will look twice as bright as the other.  It may appear SLIGHTLY brighter, but barely I would imagine !
