Hey people,
Just spent a long day with my uncle putting together a driver which runs from the mains at 6V, I am literally about to go out so I'll get a few pictures up later.
The driver is based on the same idea as the one in FAQ section, except in place of the battery there is a mains plug set to 6V and upto 500ma. I currently have the pot set to 2.75V across 3, 4.7ohm resistors to simulate a diode. I will later on test it with a red diode from a DVD burner when I nick one from an old PC.
Any comments would be apreciated, but I'll get some pictures up later so you can get a better idea of what we have done.
