Hey there, i am playing around with my S06J(I have yet to get its host so far) and i have no idea what the white(neutral?) wire is for. Can you guys tell me?

Since the return path of the battery current is often the case itself, it sometimes makes things simpler to tie the return path to the diode's neutral pin which forms a conductive path back to the battery. It's just for convenience for some applications - it is NOT connected to any active element inside the case itself.

The negative pin is not connected to the diode case. The battery negative needs a case return.

Besides, diode negative and battery negative are not always at the same electrical potential.

Im confused now; if the negative end of the battery is on the spring, where would you complete the circuit? The negative of the driver? Sorry but I am really confused right now
