Hello laserpointerforums im new here so cut me some slack :)
I'm in the UK and have read about buying a laser from the U.S Could be a good option but I'm not 100% sure. I'm after a laser (most probably green) that has a good range and can maybe: light a match, pop a balloon or maybe put a little hole in a bin bag. Thank in advance.

Do you have safety glasses for 532 light? I know you may think safety is over-stressed here but it's a good thing.

You are looking at 100mW+ and that isn't a power where you want to joke around :)

I think you can get from the alibaba and other B2B platfrom, such as made-in-china and en.ofweek and thomasnet
Unless you really know what you're looking for, you're probably not going to find a good quality laser from there.

Since I don't know what your budget is, I'll list a few lasers.

100mW 532nm from Jetlasers. Superb customer service and good quality lasers with many features on them.

100mW 532nm pen style laser from Optotronics. Excellent customer service and high quality lasers.

200mW 532nm Spartan from Dragonlasers. Probably a little overkill for what you're going to do with it, but the quality and customer service is great.

100mW 520nm from Sci-Fi lasers. Great seller, good quality but sometimes the shipping takes a little while. He's on LPF too, and his customer service is excellent.

100mW 532nm and 120mW 520nm from LaserBTB Well known shop and nice quality lasers.
