I have one of the China made yx-b008 that came in the box, just no end gadgets. Pretty nice Blue rectangle beam up close. I am not interested in the pretty pattern gadgets, but I would love to get one that allows me to refocus the beam. My specific use is for etching wood projects, and entertaining the kids with what we can burn.. (bought nice pairs of safety goggles for all, and found a barrier shield. Turns out raw egg shells are darn reflective... ;-)
Anyway, there is that threaded end for the 5 gadgets that would have come with the laser, but is there an order-able focusing gadget, or would anyone know how I might create one? (Thought about hitting a hardware store for threaded fittings, maybe playing with lenses.. but then I found this forum.
