need major help!

i have a green 250mw laser pointer.
when ever i try and point it it shows up as 1 beam but 2 focus points so i opened it up to find the problem and the tip of the laser came off ( the bulb and copper surrounding it) so i was putting it on there and turning it around and finally found the right spot to sodder it back into place but i am bad at soddering things any suggestions, it has to be in the absolute spot in order for it to have the greatest focus point. i will hopefully get some pics up in a few minutes.

Tips on keeping 2 small parts together with out moving them would be great

Use a small amount of 5 minute epoxy and hold still
for 5 minutes.
