need help with building pls

Hi. I just want to build lasers like Kipkay, he is the best laser builder i know! But his tutorials are too complicated for me. So i would welcome some help from you. thanks

He is very much one of the worst actually. He does it wrong way around, but over simplifies it for sake of video popularity.

If his videos are too complicated, I'm afraid you need a new hobby.
His videos do not explain half the things needed for a laser to function properly, like a driver circuit, boost or linear step down, then heatsink machined to match host, batteries...

If you built lasers like kikplay I hope you have an endless supply of cash and a new set of eyeballs cos you will need them both. Read the stickies and have a good look around. Read the "I want to build a laser" thread http://laserpointerforums.com/f51/i-want-build-laser-thread-52972.html it's very useful and will give you a better understanding on how to build lasers

Also forget everything you have seen on Kikplay he isn't much liked around here, there are far more superior builders on here with alot more knowledge and welcome to LPF

Listen kid, there's much to learn here. Start by reading threads that were meant for people like you.

Bragging kipkay here is not exactly the best thing to do. He may appear as expert in your eyes. Once you start learning how stuff works, you'll see how he's not exactly all that great as you think he is.

He is very much hated on this forum. He has an account here. In two years he does not even have 100 posts. But had a lot of negative reputation.

This may not be a troll, I have experience from another forum with people who really, honestly, think that a youtube video is education.

The idea that if something is on video it must be true is horribly widespread.

Could be, on the other hand the 9/11 truthers on e.g. JREF-forum are incredibly dense.
