I ordered 532nm 50mw Sizeadjustable Green Laser Torch [RF532-50mw-B03] - $31.99 : Rayfoss Lasers!, Rayfoss your trusable onlinestore a while back and it worked fine for quite a while. Then one day it just stopped working; sadly it was after the warranty had expired. I simply gave up on it. Yet today I decided to look into them again, and decided I wanted to figure out how to fix this thing. Does anyone know where I should start? How I figure out what's wrong? How to open it? What I need to fix it? Etc. Thanks guys, I'm hoping this will save me some money and will be a fun thing to do.

I wish I could help you but I don't know the problem so if you expand I could help.

What info would you need? Because I do not know even where to start. I can post some pictures.

I have dropped it once before, yet it still worked for a while after. Could I have burned it out if I left it on for too long?

May I just email you the picture for easier posting

He cant really help you, actually if there is no loose wire / conection its almost impossible to repair a green module or it would be easier and cheaper to get a new one...

But if you want to see if something is possible post a picture here... ;)

Hmm well I guess I may resort to just having to get a new one, do you know how I would go about opening it to send a better picture?

Some green hosts can just unscrew to top, you may check if you can unscrew it somewhere to get the module out, but since this one is focusbable Its probably not that easy...

Since this is a DPSS laser its still possible that it is emitting strong Infrared Light, so be careful when messing around with it. Try to shine it into a Cam and look if you can see a light on the display of your digi-cam, cellphone or similar. DONT shine it in your eyes, even if there is nothing coming out of it...
