NEED HELP FINDING A GREAT CAMERA

Hey,
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding the best digital cameras up to $150?
I know 150 is not much but i need the best one possible for that price.
Also, are there any brands i should avoid?
My sis recommended SONY.
Any suggestions?

You wont get much for $150...step it to maybe $250 and get a Nikon S7.

Judging from Proctors' pictures - he is WAY more qualified to answer this than I am - BUT as far as Sony goes - I think they are VERY $$$$ - but a girl taht works for me just got the latest version - nice big lcd in the back - she can edit the pics right on the camera - add little doo-dads to the pictures, etc...even titles, and whatnot - the screen is likea PDA - touch sensitive. Pretty impressive, and no doubt costly - I pay her WAYYY too much ! (kidding about that part - she got it as a wedding present) I probably don't pay her ENOUGH ! :

Yes...Sony is good for Point & Shoots. Something ending in a 50...I really liked from sony. It had extreme macro capabilities.
