Laser Pointer Forums - Discuss Laser Pointers | High Power Lasers

I recently bought a HeNe off of ebay. I am going to make my own power cord for short term use. I would like to have a switch made though. I was thinking some type of box about 3" long, 2" wide and about 1" high. A simple toggle would work for the actual switch. I would like the box to detatch for the input and output wires. The input could use a PC/monitor connection since I have plenty of PC power cords... I would need a 3 pin output. It doesn't have to be very big since the wires going into the power supply are 22 AWG. I'm not too worried if the following can't happen. It would be nice to have a LED turn on indicating power is on.

I hope I'm not demanding too much here.
