CO2 lasers operate at around 10,600nm. It
would be off the right of most screens if it
was shown at that size.

Oh ok, but according to the image, the CO2 laser wouldn't work.. that's strange.
According to the image the CO2 laser would work. It shows how much light gets transmitted through, so higher = more light goes through = bad.
