need a cheap green 5mw

A mother of a kid I know he's around 10 or 11 wanted me to get him a laser for his b-day and he wanted blue so I got him a 405nm off of ebay and now his little brother is jealous and he wants a green one. His mother doesn't want him to know she is buying it for him so she gave me the money to get one. Considering he is young I don't want to give him anything over 5mw. And he wants green. His mother gave me 11 bucks so thats what i got to spend on it. I don't really want to get it on ebay again cause i don't enjoy the risk it includes so let me know what u got.

You know that 405 could be over spec most are. As for a green I would PM swim he had some under spec's awile back.

The 405's are ALWAYS overspec... 5mW of 405nm is very dim. Usually they start out in the 30mW range, but can go up to ~90mW.

Be careful with eBay!
Most "green" 532nm on eBay I've ran into are overspec & won't have an IR filter.
IR will be much higher, and you wont know till its too late.
