Nebo Flashlight as Host?

I found today at an Army surplus store a Nebo flashlight. It is a great little light but upon further inspection I think it would probably make a great host. This thing comes apart really well. Most of the little lights I have looked at don't seem to disassemble into so many pieces. The rear click switch has 5 settings, 3 for brightness, an SOS, and a strob for defense. It also has a focus for the beam. Plus it looks cool. Has anyone tried to use one before? I would like to find an empty case but may spend the $30 for another one for a host for my next laser build. This model is the 5557 (Redline) and it's not on their website but I did find them online and on Ebay.
Here are some pictures of it whole and mostly disassembled, i didn't remove the driver board as I want this one for a light and didn't want to risk damaging it.
