Navy testing Laser able to shoot down planes

The US Navy has tested a laser to be equipt on all ships eventually which has the power to shoot down enemy planes. It's actually 6 lasers and an advanced targeting system which aligns the beams to a single spot on the aircraft until it is brought down. There's a crazy video over at gizmodo.
