My X105 in shipping! :D

I ordered the X105 from Nova few days ago here is the things i bought:

*X105 Compact Portable Laser w/carrying case, NOVA Membership, 1045 LightYear Reward Points

*NOVA Shields Sport

*DG Mega Matrix

*X-Series Lens Holder with Optics

and some more to come later...


it has arrived in Houston Texas for my uncle to take it home for me to Iceland...

the reason i let him take it is because:

*shipping
*15 % tolls
*160 dollars for the Icelandic radiation blablabla...
*+ 24,5 % on the whole thing in the rest for the Tax (yes the whole thing, shipping and everything)

the laws here in Iceland are so ridiculous about import and such things..
so it is not a possibility to ship it direct to Iceland.

Wow.. that's indeed a harsh policy on imports.

I though The Netherlands was a big struggle , but from what you telling.. it's an easy import here.


Maybe ask the next time you order internationally, you could ask to mention its a GIFT worth no more than $30 on the CN22 form that is added. This way it its hardly opened by border controls, and no tax bill included.

The only con. about it is you cannot insure it to more than $30. however sending it registered will slim the chances on lost in delivery. Well, thats my experience.
