my new uranium glass colection

so, my uncle is an glass artist and I asked him if he has some uranium glass. he said yes and gave me few pieces with different colors. they all glow yellow-green in UV light, expect one that is non-uranium (uncle didn't know that it's not uranium glass) and it is melted together with another glass

thats really cool. I have a couple of uranium marbles that i use to give a cool light effect. of course those blocks are way cooler.
 
yes it's cool, but it doesn't glow so intensive as those marbles. but one of them (2nd on the video) has 2 big air bubbles inside and it's really interesting to watch the difraction in glass
 
If you have one to spare, IE: don't mind ruining it. Try this little trick. Heat the piece in the oven @400 Degrees for 1/2 hour. Then plunge it into cold water.
It will crackle, (but not break, hopefully) The reflectivity effect will be magnified by 100X, like in the cracked marbles.
