I just finished building a 12x labby. I made a dual lm317 driver circuit board that powers the diode as well as the display. It has a Blue lcd ammeter. The current is adjusted via a 10turn precision pot.

The heat sink is made out of an aluminum block, press in diode. It supports lenses with the 9mm .5 housing.

That's my first time etching a circuit board. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Now I need to save up and get a lpm.

Nice work! Very clean. I especially like the LCD ammeter that's onboard. Oh, and nice job on the first etch... :gj:

Very nice looking build! This is something I've always wanted to do. :)

Thanks guys. :)
My next project is a tec cooled unit.

Nice...:) I haven't gotten around to playing with a tec yet. It's on my "to-do" list (right alongside a scanner project and a white fusion build) :D

There are far too many different laser related projects to keep up with.
