Multiple crosshair?

Hi!

I've been looking for some simple crosshair splitters. I very noob to lasers and prismas...

Is it possible to project a point laser into multiple lines so it creates a 8 pieces pattern (like 8 slices of cakes )

How does a crosshair splitter work?

A cross generator lens is just two line generator lenses next to each other. Half of the laser beam is diverted horizontally, and the other half is diverted vertically.

It would be hard to do, but you could build a 4-line generator by using a quarter of the beam for each optic.
