Modifying Lasers as a Service in UK?

Hey everyone.
This is such a great forum!

I am based in the UK and I am planning on selling laser pointers soon. I know the legal limit for the UK is 1mw (which is pretty rubbish) but I was wondering: if I was to offer a modification service to my customers, to make the beam a bit stronger, would this be classed as legal or not...?

At a guess I doubt it would be legal, but if someone could give me some info on the subject that would be great!

It would be illegal. But before starting to upgrade lasers you should try to impove your electronic skills. Also it is easier to buy the parts and then build a powerfull laser than upgrading an old one.
