hi all, new to the forum

for my dissertation im building a photolitography machine (microchip patterning) with a free moving 405nm laser diode and i need to focuss it into the absolute smallest spot. Ive been looking into lenses, ball lenses and fibre coupling it myself. Anyone have any ideas for the best way to achieve the smallest spot size ?

Thanks in advance

Also, anyone know of U.K. supliers that have 405nm laser diodes that dont cost an insane ammount ? working on a bit of a budget and the suppliers from china ive found have very long delivery times, even paying extra.
