Hello, i have bought 2 mini LED flashlights with a build in red laser from around 10mW
I was wondering if it is possible to take the laser out and put a stronger laser in it? now i am not able to see the laser beam at night and this is what i want to be able to see
It doesn't need to be a very high power laser and i don't think that is possible since the flashlight is very small but it just has to be strong enough to see the beam at night so i'm tinking around 50mW?
i'm just wondering if it would be possible to replace the laser but keep the flashlight intact?
It is very easy to acces the laser because i can just screw the top of and then i got acces to the laser which without much trouble should come out.
I have never build or modded a laser before and i'm not planning on doing it any time soon because money won't allow it yet ^^'' but i thought it would be a good idea to get some information and get the opinions of people who have experience in building so that i know what i can and can't do when the time comes that i can start with this project
The laser only cost me about 2-3 euro so it doesn't really matter if i screw this one up ^^ it's only going to me a first try into building/modding and i hope it works out because i really want to get into this hobby more and in the future be able to build my own lasers too
here are some details about the laser:
SHULE SL-560
Mini flashlight that fits in the palm of your hand with a build in red laser
It's powered by 1 AA battery that you place in the back
It has 1 switch that controls both the laser and the flashlight
Click once for flashlight and turn it of and on again for the laser
The top part can be screwed open to acces the laser
