Max power for a 405nm from a samsung Bluray?

Hey guys, I've been gone for a bit but I'm in the process of getting back into the "Hobby".

I've been searching around for a good returning project so I'm just kinda gathering info at the moment.

I have a samsung BD-D5100 that's been sitting around in the closet for a couple years, I can hear the Diode calling my name so I think it's time to harvest. My question is, what is the max power this diode will support with out destroying it's lifespan? from the searching I've done the answer I tend to keep seeing is about 150mW. Does that sound about right?
 





Not much is known about that box. If you
get 100mW out of it, you're doing pretty
good. Anything over 125mA could shorten
its life or ruin it. Being a player, it
won't make much power.
 
Yeah I figured with it being a player I wouldn't get a ton out of it. Maybe just a quick little mess around project. Thanks for the info :)
 
Honestly, since it's just a player don't expect anything over like, 5 mW. Burners are the ones that require the high power laser diodes, I mean, after all they're LITERALLY burning the disc. With readers they're just reflecting the light off to read the information.
