Laser Pointer Forums - Discuss Laser Pointers | High Power Lasers

Hi, I want to make a green laser strong enough to light matches, pop balloons, cut tape, etc. I was wondering if any of you could help me. I live in California. My parents don't let me buy anything off the internet though, so that's a big set-back for me. Any suggestions?
