making a diy laser help needed

i am thinking of making two lasers 1 from a ps3 blu-ray drive and another from a dvd burner but i need help on the things i need to buy i was think of buying one of these lasers then just remove the diodes and put my ones in.

Believe me or not, but this forum is actually a laser pointer forum and there are posts helping you build a laser! :O Anything you could ask as a beginner has been asked before.

If you did a few minutes of research you would have found many helpful posts for like this: KLICK

I see u probably just picked the cheapest few crap pointers you could find, forget something like that. Do some reading, check if you can really afford to build a laser and get some safety goggles, and If you really have some questions left... then ask them, If they cant be googled in 20 seconds many people will help you

You'll need to select your parts from the thread that MadEye already linked to in the above post..
You can also use the search button on the forum it will help you find more threads relating to your question which has already been discussed several times.. you need a lot of reading as you know nothing.

But why would he do that when he can just sucker another member into doing it for him?
