I've been poking around the internet in my "spare time" looking for glow-in-the-dark materials for use with Bluray lasers. I tried some ceramic glo-tiles, but these have some serious drawbacks like being heavy and brittle, and they tend to react a bit slowly and the glow tends to bloom a lot, and they can be expensive to ship.
Finally I found something cool enough to share here. It is a laminated, adhesive backed sheet that can be had in 12" squares for only $3.25 ea (plus shipping). It glows very well with only a low powered bluray beam - like writing with a pen - only from inches to several feet away. Lot's of fun! Here is a link-
