Hi these diodes where avaliable for a while just before sharp released the 488nm laser diodes if anyone has 1 for sale thanx.

I have a quote here for the 500mW single mode blue diodes (from 435-465)nm for 2,258USD . Ans a quote for the NDA4116: EUR2052 (100mW speced) and you can choose the WL. So a little more, but on Ebay you can find old laser at this wavelength for a bargain and extract the diode. Nichia has a warranty, and they have the best GaN diodes so far (they invented them)

I have one 473nm sharp diode myself. I would sell it for less than half the price you are offering. They were super cheap back then. I also have a bunch of the real 495nm sharps (I sold a few here in the forum 2018), these are real unavailable from every supplier now (but sharp will select 495-500nm for you if you know whom to ask for less than 500USD per piece.

Its interesting... Nichia seems to play cards with the prices of their diodes and qty. The price I told is sure quite high, Im open for offers. But it´s always the question how rare something is. If you don´t get a diode which was 50$ backtimes, it´s legit to ask 500$ for, or even 1000$, if you can´t get it anywhere anymore.
Yes, we have sharp selected on 502-503nm here too. And sell selected 488nm too , they also sometimes are on about 493nm, or even 484nm.
Sure these are not high priced;)
