I have recently began searching for an ssy-1. The ssy-1 is a q-switched
nd yag laser that was originally used for a laser range finder in a tank. It has a pulsed output and is available on Meredith Instruments.com, unfortunatley they wont ship to my country (Australia), and so I am looking for someone who will. Meredith Instruments asks $195 for a unit complete with Nd:YAG laser rod, Flashlamp & cavity, passive Q-switch, Cavity mirrors and the Metal frame. I am willing to pay up to $200 plus postage for all of this as long as it is in working condition or less for parts. I will negotiate a higher price should this laser be in exceptional condition. Also if someone from the USA was willing to purchase one from Meredith Instruments and then sell it to me I would pay a very fair price.
