Hello guys..

i have one storry.

I have an advertisement on the web where i am selling laser pointers..
Today i received an email where one guy wrote me this:

selling lasers above 5mw is illegal.. you should remove your advertisemet.

The trick is that i am totally unable to find out if my country has really restrictions in importing and selling lasers above 5mw.

I dont know who is this guy, and if it was some friendly warning, or some concurent which dont want me to sell the same stuff as himself.

I am selling them without knowin if they are allowed or not.

BUT MY PARCELS HAVE BEEN OPENED BY CUSTOMS SO MANY TIMES AND THEY SHOULD FINE ME BECAUSE I HAVE IMPORTED LASERS ABOVE 5MW..
But they just wrapped my parcel and send it to me without any problems..

So upon of this i judge IT IS LEGAL, as THE CUSTOMS should be THE GUYS who knows what is legal or not.. shouldnt they?
and if it is not legal they should not send it straight to me, but confiscate it and give me some fine.

But anyway.
I am thinking on one thing.
I should tore those complete lasers apart..
This will give me an laser module + housing for this module..
As selling the modules is without any restrictions then it should be OK..
But is it aslo legal to sell this modules together with this host??
i mean Selling this whole kit?

thank you

If I'm not mistaken I think he is in Italy...

@milantheone... you should call your country's Customs Agency
for answers...
The Government works for you... (or is supposed to..:D)

i live in Slovakia guys
I really should call them, or send them an e-mail, but i have affraid that after my call they really should make a better check on laser wich i will import next time..
So i would avoid to get an information from them..
