I am seeking some advice about my next laser purchase. I love blue lasers, and I have a question about these two lasers:
mini B - 445nm 100mW Pocket Low Power Blue Laser Pointer
Power Rock 400mW blu-ray 405nm laser torch/adjustable/waterproof [OL-405T-400] - $102.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce
I own a 20mW 405nm laser from ebay and I want to upgrade. I understand that a 445nm appears brighter than a 405nm, but hom much brighter? Will 400mW of 405 appear equal to 100mW of 445? Also, I noticed that 405nm lasers appear blurry when you look at them from a disance. Is this the same with 445nm lasers? On lazerer, the 445nm is described as single mode, because it has a round dot. Is that a good thing?
I really like the hosts on both of these lasers, especially O-like's power rock. I own the 50mW 532nm laser in that host.
So what would you guys reccomend? They are both similar in price. Don't worry, I have laser safety goggles.
